Victoria, BC ~ The Victoria Shamrocks continued their winning ways on Friday night from the Q Centre to improve their league best record to 14-0.

Victoria kicked off the game with an early tally just 1:44 into the first, when Clarke Petterson found the back of the goal to kickstart the home side on the front foot.

Coquitlam, however, responded less than a minute later before rattling off two more after directly after making for three markers in less than two minutes.

The Shamrocks would weather the early storm and jump back in front by scoring three unanswered before the period was up. First, Case Wilson found the back of the net with a shot to the top shelf. Marshal King would do the same to tie the game at three. Shamrocks captain, Jesse King, would follow suit at 15:38 of the first to give the Shamrocks that aforementioned lead heading to the first intermission.

Coquitlam battled that Shamrocks lead down too one with ten minutes gone in the second, before the 'Rocks retook their three goal lead heading into the third with two goals in two minutes. Jesse King and Clarke Petterson were the culprits this time.

The second period was highlighted by a Shamrocks penalty kill, which was able to kill off a five minute boarding major to Adam Jay. Jay would also be assessed a game misconduct on the play.

A relatively quiet third period would follow and see the Shamrocks go up 9-5 on a Liam Phillips goal, before the Adanacs battled the score back to 9-7. This would be as close as they would come, however, as Victoria cruised to victory with two late goals from Marshal King and than his older brother Jesse King.
