Victoria Shamrocks unveil new jerseys for both Junior and Senior Shamrock teams

The Victoria Shamrocks are pleased to reveal a new team jersey that will be worn by both the Junior and Senior Shamrocks teams.

In March 2017, the Senior A Shamrocks, the Junior A Shamrocks and the Intermediate A Shamrocks entered into a Cooperation Agreement in Principle to provide coordination and consistency between the three clubs in branding, style of play and some areas of business operations. Under the terms of this agreement, the clubs agreed to begin using a consistent brand starting in the 2018 playing season.

General Manager Chris Welch commented, “Our three teams are working in the same place and sharing the same name and now we’re doing it under a common brand representing the pride and tradition of the Victoria Shamrocks.” Junior Shamrocks Head Coach Terry Dennett also supports the new jerseys saying that “It’s nice to see the Junior and Senior program merging as one. The joint look of the jersey helps show the unity within the Shamrocks family.”

Come and see the new jerseys in action less than one month away! The Victoria Shamrocks 69th Home Opener begins on May 25th against Burnaby Lakers. Game day promotional lineups will feature tailgates, music, mascot madness, mini tyke games, flip-a-frisbee, fan contests and more! Don’t miss the fun. The Junior Shamrocks home opener takes place May 5th at 4 p.m. against the Coquitlam Adanacs at The Q Centre. Junior Shamrocks single game tickets are available at the door only. The home opener of the Tier One Jr B team takes place tomorrow, April 28 at1:00pm against Burnaby.
