Welcome Back Adrian Sorichetti

The Victoria Shamrocks are pleased to announce the signing of Adrian Sorichetti for the 2023 Western Lacrosse Association season. The 32-year old defender from Whitby, Ontario returns to the Shamrocks lineup after having played one previous year with the team in 2019 when he appeared in 30 regular season, playoff and Mann Cup games. He recently relocated to Victoria on a full-time basis when he joined the Saanich Fire Department as a firefighter in 2022.

Sorichetti brings a wealth of experience to the young Shamrocks team, having won three National Lacrosse League championships in 2015, 2016 and 2018 as well as having captained the Whitby Warriors to a Minto Cup national championship in 2011.

"Adrian built a reputation as an outstanding transition player but as his career has gone on he's proven to be a very well-rounded defender that we're happy to add once again to our mix," said Shamrocks general manager Chris Welch. "He'll help to fill an important leadership role with our young, hard-working defense."
