Victoria Shamrocks host player card signing event Wednesday

Victoria - At last Friday's home game, the Victoria Shamrocks unveiled their new 2017 player cards to the first 200 fans through the doors, and now fans will have the opportunity to get Shamrock players and Rocky Racoon to sign their own limited edition cards.

Victoria Shamrocks have once again partnered with Peninsula Co-op to host a player card signing event on Wednesday June 21^st at the Goldstream location (894 Goldstream Avenue) across from Langford City Hall from 2-4pm. Fans that didn’t get cards on Friday can grab their FREE pack at the event on Wednesday which will also feature music by 100.3 The Q, Shamrock stickers and if you play your cards right, a Shamrock might even pump your gas or clean your windshield!

After Wednesday, the limited edition set of trading cards featuring your 2017 Victoria Shamrock players, coaches and Rocky Racoon are available for FREE while supplies last at select Peninsula Co-op Gas and Convenience Centre locations; Goldstream Gas Centre, Wale Road Gas Centre, Keating Cross Road Grocery store and Pat Bay Hwy Gas Centre. The Shamrocks next home game is Friday, June 23^rd against the Maple Ridge Burrards at 7:30. It's also Alumni Night presented by Jenner Chevrolet Corvette Buick GMC with another Shamrocks jersey being retired and members from the 1997 Mann Cup Championship team dropping the ball before the game. The 'tailgate' begins at 5:30 with music and Triple O's burgers by donation, with proceeds benefiting the Victoria Shamrocks Alumni and the Westshore Rotary club with tickets on sale now from victoriashamrocks.com, phoning 250-478-7625 or at the team store at 967 Langford Parkway.
