Victoria Shamrocks 2018 WLA Award Winners

Victoria, BC – Your Victoria Shamrocks are pleased to congratulate this year’s 2018 WLA Award Winners. Making 1st-Team All-Star from your Shamrocks was forward Casey Jackson. Earning 2nd-Team All Star this season was defender Steve Priolo and forward Jesse King.


Jackson was the Shamrocks leading scorer in the regular seasons with a total of 95 points. His 95 points were the second most behind Logan Schuss of New Westminster for the WLA scoring lead in 2018. Jackson tallied up 46 goals this season placing himself highest on the regular season leaderboard for total goals. This is Jackson’s 2nd year with the Shamrocks after he had 27 goals and 33 assists in 15 games for the Shamrocks last year. 


Priolo had an outstanding season on the backend for Victoria. He had 5 goals and 4 assists this season in his 3rd year with the Shamrocks. The 6’5, 225-pound defender is continuing to play his two-way style of lacrosse in the postseason as Priolo put up 2 points in the first round against Nanaimo. 


King has had an excellent 2018 season after missing all of 2017 due to injury. King put up 93 points for the Shamrocks in the regular season. He had 30 goals including 3 game-winning goals and put up 7 goals in the first round against Nanaimo.
