The Countdown to 25,000 Contest Begins

Victoria, BC– The Victoria Shamrocks have teamed up with Lewis Ratcliff at the Ratcliff Group to launch a countdown to a milestone that this club has been in pursuit of since 1950. 

The Shamrocks have scored 24,958 goals since starting the organization in 1950, and are on track to reach 25,000 during this season.The Shamrocks are a proud staple of Victoria sports and their success has been supported by the city for decades. 

From goal-scoring legends like Kevin Alexander, John Crowther, Rajit Dillon, Jack Bonda and more all the way to the stars of today, the Shamrocks have continued to leave fans in awe with some of the highlight reel goals. 

With the support of former Victoria Shamrock Lewis Ratcliff, the Shamrocks will be starting a countdown to our 25,000th goal contest for a chance to win a Google Chromebook, and Shamrocks prize pack. 

Contestants will have one entry per week to choose which player they think will score the 25,000th franchise goal. For more information on the contest, and to start your entry, head to the “Fan Zone” tab. 

The Rocks start their pursuit for the 25,000th goal at our home opener on Friday, May 27th as we take on the New Westminster Salmonbellies. Tickets are available on our website at https://www.victoriashamrocks.com/single-game-tickets or in store on Tuesdays and Fridays from 12-5pm.
