Victoria, BC – The Victoria Shamrocks are excited to announce that they have signed Ben McCullough for the 2016 WLA season. McCullough is a five-year WLA veteran; he joined the Shamrocks in 2011 after he played junior in Ontario. In 79 WLA regular season games, McCullough has scored 8 goals with 11 assists. He is also experienced in the postseason, having played in 43 games, including the 2015 Mann Cup Championship.

Shamrocks general manager Chris Welch is excited to see McCullough return for another season. “Ben is a gritty, hard-working player who drives our opponents crazy with his aggressive and relentless defending,” said Welch. \"He is a real stand-up guy for us in the community too, he always has time to make appearances and engage with our fans, especially the kids. He’s just a great team guy, and you have to have guys like Ben McCullough in your lineup if you want to be successful.”

The defense of our Mann Cup championship begins on May 20th at our home opener against Nanaimo.  Season and single game tickets are on sale by clicking TICKETS on the right or by calling 250-478-ROCK.
