Shamrocks trade for veteran Myles Kenny
Victoria, BC – With a week until the May 20th home opener, the Victoria Shamrocks have traded for 6’3†Myles Kenny from the Nanaimo Timbermen, for a conditional draft pick in 2018.
Kenny is 29 years old, lives in Shawinigan Lake and played 20 games for the Jr. ‘A’ Shamrocks while putting up 10 goals and 14 assists. In 7 W.L.A. seasons with the Timbermen, Myles played 108 games while accumulating 64 points and 125 penalty minutes.Â
Shamrocks Head Coach Bob Heyes is excited what Kenny brings to the team. “He is an experienced player that adds depth to our backend group and will make an immediate impact.â€
