Shamrocks Return Home Looking to Regain Momentum

After dropping a 10-7 decision in game 2, the Shamrocks return to the Q Centre tonight at 6:30 pm for game 3 of the best of 7 WLA Championship Series with the series deadlocked at a 1-1. 

Jesse King and Tyson Gibson each had a pair of goals for the Shamrocks in the game 2 loss, while Tyler Pace, Chris Boushy, an Steve Priolo scored the others.  After a quiet game one, Curtis Dickson came alive for the Burrards with 2+2, however that effort was overshadowed by the 6 goal effort from Ben McIntosh.

The Shamrocks will look to get back on track with their special teams in game 3.  The power play went 0-4 on the night, after entering the game with a power play clicking at exactly 50% for the playoffs.  Maple Ridge was also 4 for 8 with the man-advantage. 

Peter Dubenski and Frank Scigliano are expected to draw the starts in goal for their respective clubs.  Dubenski is 5-1 in the playoffs with a 6.29 GAA and a .864 save %. Scigliano meanwhile is 5-3 with a 7.88 GAA and a .841 save %.  Dubenski has manned the Shamrocks crease for every minute of the WLA playoffs, while Scigliano has played all but 24 minutes for Maple Ridge.
