Shamrocks look to rebound on the road for Game Four
Written by: Janice Huckin
The Shamrocks will look to bounce back on the road after dropping a 14-11 overtime game at home in game three. Victoria’s offense is clicking as Jeff Shattler has been a driving force in the last two games with the regulars Cory Conway, Corey Small and Rhys Duch continuing to do their part. Fans were no doubt pleased to see Doug Langlois back on the floor for game three after going down in the Burnaby series.
The defense has also been strong and the younger players are gaining valuable experience playing with veterans such as the Harnett brothers, Jon and Greg. Rookies Taylor Northway and Max Cullen have stepped up and Tyler Burton has continued to dominate the faceoff circle.
The series has been very punishing physically on both teams but the Shamrocks have shown a resilience and will push hard to bounce back to tie the series and return to the Q Centre for game five. Â Â
