Jeff Shattler Returns to the ‘Rocks

The Victoria Shamrocks are very pleased to announce that Jeff Shattler is returning to the team this year following a two-year absence.  Shattler, 31, played for the Shamrocks for five seasons in between 2009 and 2013, during which time he was a two-time winner of the team’s most valuable player award and a three-time winner of the team’s most popular player as voted by the fans.

He spent the last two seasons with the Six Nations Chiefs and helped lead them to a Mann Cup championship over the Shamrocks in 2014. Shattler is a proven offensive player, who in nine seasons between BC and Ontario, has scored 348 goals and added 482 assists for 830 points in 251 regular season and playoff games. There is more to his game than just offense; he can play at both ends of the floor and is one of the very best transition players in lacrosse.

“Jeff brings the total package, he has elite levels of skill, athleticism, competitiveness and toughness making him one of the most dynamic players in our sport,” said Shamrocks general manager Chris Welch. “We’re excited to bring him back to his summer home in Victoria and I know our fans are going to be thrilled to have him on our side again.”
