It’s Time to #RocktheBox- Shamrocks Force Game Six at the Q! Centre Sunday

Victoria, BC– The Shamrocks are inviting all fans, old and new, to come help ‘Rock the Box” and cheer on the team this Sunday, game 6 of playoffs against the Langley Thunder.

Playoff box lacrosse is always a whole new level, but with a difficult 0-2 start to a best-of-seven semi-final, the Shamrocks had a long way to climb back. After last night’s overtime win, the ‘Rocks have successfully forced a game six on Sunday, August 14th (game time 5 pm) and the Shamrocks need you to help #RocktheBox at the Q! Centre by filling the building and drowning out the Thunder.

The Shamrocks ended the regular season with two tough losses to the highly competitive Langley Thunder, only to take them on in the first round of the 2022 WLA Finals. Starting off with two losses, the Shamrocks have fought all the way back to force a game six after winning two straight. With a tremendous 12-10 overtime victory, the atmosphere was electric inside the arena.

The Shamrocks have the best fans in the Western Lacrosse Association, and they need all their fans to come out and support them in their hunt for the 2022 WLA Championship. Game six tickets are on sale now on our website or by calling (250) 478- ROCK. The Shamrocks office at the Q Centre will be open for walk-in tickets from 12-5 pm on Friday, August 12th, and at noon on game day, Sunday, August 14.
