Thursday July 27th, 7:30pm, Queens Park arena

Written by Justis Doucet

New Westminster – Victoria and New Westminster are tied at twenty-one points, Victoria ahead in second via owning the tiebreaker (a win and tie in two games vs the Salmonbellies).

Victoria visited New Westminster once already this season, a 5-4 win thanks to forty-five saves from Cody Hagedorn. They then tied on June 16th in Victoria 12-12.

Corey Small is six points away from tying his career high with eighty-six points, and six goals from tying his career best of forty-two. Casey Jackson needs one point to tie his career best fifty-four points set in 2014.

A Shamrocks win would move them back into first place, a point ahead of Maple Ridge. After Thursday the Shamrocks and Burrards have one game remaining, the Burrards visit Coquitlam Saturday, while Victoria hosts Burnaby Friday on Fan Appreciation night. The 2017 WLA Playoffs begin Thursday, August 3rd.
