Cory Conway returns for 2016
Victoria, BC – The Victoria Shamrocks are excited to announce that forward Cory Conway will return to the team for the 2016 WLA season. This will be Conway’s third full season with the Shamrocks and seventh full WLA season overall. In 2015, Conway finished fifth in the WLA in scoring with 12 goals, 55 assists in 18 games.
Throughout his WLA career, Conway has finished in the top five in league points five times, and finished runner up three times. Conway has a reputation as one of the elite playmakers in the WLA. He has led the league in assists in six WLA seasons, tallying 331 assists in 102 career games. Conway has had similar success in the postseason; recording 98 assists in 43 career postseason games.
Conway, 29, is a Victoria native and he played his junior career with the Jr. A Shamrocks. Conway has once been named a WLA 1st Team All-Star, and twice been named a 2nd Team All-Star.

As his stats clearly illustrate, he is a very dangerous offensive weapon who possesses an unbelievable shot and some of the most creative playmaking skills I've ever seen."
