Victoria - The Shamrocks entered their final regular season game with Burnaby on Friday.  Robert Church put the visiting Lakers on the board in the first then Burnaby added another pair thirty-eight seconds apart near the mid-way part of the frame taking a 3-0 lead. Corey Small answered with his league leading thirty-seventh goal of the season to get the 'Rocks on the board. Burnaby replied forty-three seconds later to re-take the three goal lead.  The Lakers went up 5-1 on a shorthanded breakaway goal by Rouse. Burnaby outshot Victoria 18-15 in the period.

Burnaby extended the lead early in the 2nd before Evan Messenger scored to make it 6-2. The Lakers scored twice more to jump ahead 8-2, but then Victoria was given some fuel. Robert Church took a five-minute boarding penalty, and the league's best power-play took advantage. Victoria scored twice in twenty-four seconds to cut the Laker lead to 8-4 with goals by Casey Jackson and Evan Messenger. The Shamrocks weren't done there, Joe Resetarits scored a minute and a half later, then Tyler Burton squeaked one past Eric Penney on a breakaway to bring The home town crowd back into the game and make it 8-6. The four goals in under four minutes stole the momentum for Victoria, who continued to pressure after the run. Burnaby scored once more in the frame but Victoria was right back in it, down 9-6 after forty minutes. The Shamrocks also outshot Burnaby 23-14 in the frame.

Victoria was unable to close the gap any further, as a pair of power play goals from Dane Stevens increased the Laker lead to 11-6. Jason Jones added another on the man advantage before Rhys Duch made it 12-7. Burnaby quickly answered with Robert Church's second of the game. Brendan Rouse scored an empty net goal with six minutes left to make it 14-7 before Corey Small scored with twelve seconds left as Burnaby walked away 14-8 winners.
